What are the biggest economic issues that need most attention? Do you understand the economic plans proposed by both presidential candidates?

Vocalo went to UIC today and asked students to give us their opinions.

While most students say they are tired of the back and forth between President Barak Obama and Governor Mitt Romney, others gave some specifics on key concerns that must be addressed to bring the economy back to full speed.

“If I had a magic wand, I’ll go back in time and would have focused the bail out on people who actually needed it rather than CEOs and bankers that really didn’t nothing with it, except to give themselves bonuses and raises,” said Michael, a UIC student.

Other students worried that there won’t be enough jobs available when their time to join the labor force comes.

“When I get out of school, it’s something that’s really gonna affect it, if there is not jobs, I am going to be stuck,” said Amanda also a student.  

While some of the people I interviewed expressed concerns about the unstable job market, others seemed less clear about the real plans that each presidential candidate has in relation to the economy.
